  • I love you so much Dad. I'm sitting here in California at a restaurant filled with John Wayne thinking how much you remind me of him! A real dude!! Could fix anything, do anything and I miss you so much. I learned a lot from you and I’m always thinking of you. Thank you for blessing me with the knowledge and character I have today, thank you for my loving family and an unbreakable love between us. I wouldn’t have them without you. We are all always thinking of you and thankful for what you provided. See you again one day when I'm old, to tell you my life thoughts you couldn’t see. I love you forever my Elvis Presley Dad. One day you’ll meet my little Presley:) Keep watching over us and loving us from where you are. - Posted by: Chantel Ditchfield (Tittle) (Daughter) on: Dec 18, 2022

  • It has been 13 years since you joined our creator and I miss you more than you can possibly know. I miss everything about you Dad. There are so many things I wish I could have said and shared with you. I wish you could have met your grandson Caiden. I know you are in a better place and that you're happy. I know you watch all of us. I know that you will continue to watch over Colin, Chantal, Michelle and myself. You will forever be loved and missed. I love you Dad - Posted by: Christopher Ditchfield (Son) on: Feb 06, 2022

  • I love you and miss you always dad!! Michelle......you said it all! And said it well!! He taught me more than he could ever know! I love him for the strengths and his weaknesses! Some times it takes seeing both ends of the spectrum to truly learn lessons,we learn from what we hear and see and make choices everyday based on these lessons, so i Thank our dad for teaching me! I feel you on my thoughts everydayand I know he's here for us, just in a different way! I love you! I love our family! Thank you! - Posted by: Colin ditchfield (son) on: Nov 04, 2015

  • Larry and I met at the armed forces recruitment office and became instant friends. We didn't join up. I will always hold Larry's memory deep in my heart. He was a good friend and a gentle person. - Posted by: Doug Thompson (Friend\brother-in-law) on: Nov 04, 2015

  • My dad was a hard working man, he had a strong family value. he showed me the importance of being able to do things for myself. He loved music, he used to dj, he was a construction worker, landscaper, woodworker, and back in the day when milk was still brought to your door in glass jars he delivered. He grew up on a farm in Inwood Manitoba, he has 5 siblings Patricia, Joanne, Gordon, Terry, and Heather(deceased). His mother Anne Appleyard(ditchfield) still resides in inwood manitoba in the log house my dad and granddad Gordon built for her before he passed away. Larry always tried if he could to give us what we wanted. he has 4 children myself Michelle, 2 sons Christopher and Colin and our youngest sibling daughter Chantal. He was also step dad to Terry and Tina Blanco. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman, he loved to take us camping and enjoyed going hunting. I think about him a lot and I miss a lot. - Posted by: Michelle Leigh Ditchfield (daughter) on: Nov 04, 2015

  • Larry was my father and he spent his whole life taking care of his family. His kids meant everything to him. We all have our problems in this world but my father never let those problems stand in the way of caring for his children. I miss him very much. - Posted by: Christopher Larry Ditchfield (Son) on: Feb 25, 2013
