LAWRENCE (LARRY) HERBERT JAMES Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, at the Deer Lodge Centre, Larry James passed away at the age of 83 years. Larry was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy and will be sadly missed by his daughters and sons-in-law: Barbara and Stan Newman; Carol and Ken Akerstream; grandchildren: Christopher (Tanya), Deanne, Marc, Kyle, Arly, and great-granddaughter Rhyla who all brought so much pleasure to his life. He is also survived by his brother Allan (Thelma) James. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Veterans Affairs Canada, Dr. James and Esther Krahn as well as the staff at Deer Lodge Centre T4, especially Joanne and Katherine, for their excellent and compassionate care they all showed to our Dad. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Larry can be made to the Norwood Legion Branch #43, 134 Marion St., Winnipeg, MB R2H 0T4 or a charity of one's choice.
