Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH HOURIE On Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, Elizabeth Hourie, aged 99 years. Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Stuart; parents, Colin and Elizabeth; brother Colin and sisters, Winnie Monkman, Nellie Smith and Martha Leclair. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was born in St. Peter's, Manitoba on September 9, 1909. She worked at Booth Fisheries and later at Freshwater Fish where she stayed until retirement. Aunt Liz loved her Sunday Church services and hymn singing with her many friends at the Betel Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. Thanks to the staff at the Betel Home for the love and care they gave to her. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
