SELINA (ALICE) MALTMAN Mom was born in Napinka, MB, December 23, 1917 to William and Bella (Riddell) Lang. Passed away February 2, 2009 at the age of 91. She married James (Tony) Maltman December 3, 1938. Mom was predeceased by Dad (1993); brother Allan (1996); sister Irene Keen (2006); and daughter-in-law Marlene (2003). She is survived by her son Jim and grandson Dale of Palmdale, CA; daughter Fern (Wayne) McDonald of Sandy Hook, MB. Grandchildren, Michelle (Duncan) Christie and Derek (Corey) McDonald, great-grandchildren, Zachary, Ethan and Kylee Christie and Emily McDonald. Mom was a Member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branches No. 1 and No. 4 for many years and had resided in Sandy Hook since 2001. In March 2006 she moved to Betel Home in Gimli, MB. Many thanks to caregivers at Betel. Thank you also to our neighbours for their many visits and thoughtfulness. At Mom's request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and burial with Dad at Brookside Cemetery (Military Section) will take place at a later date.
