Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD FREDERICK STAVELEY Peacefully on February 2, 2009 Harold passed away at Oakview Place at the age of 96. Harold is survived by his daughter Linda (Tony) Boyd; grandchildren Michael (Crystal) Boyd and Meghan (Wade) Fisher; great-grandsons Tyler and Rylan Fisher and great- granddaughters Anais and Nico Boyd. Also left to cherish his memories are brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Don and Evelyn Thompson, Keith and Loraine Cameron; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his loving wife Hazel, parents Herbert and Edna, brothers Rod (Meryl), Jun (Lura) and sister Jean (AC). Harold was born November 3, 1912 in Weyburn, Saskatchewan. He was a graduate of the University of Saskatchewan. He spent his working life in Weyburn, Swift Current, Brandon and Winnipeg, working for most of his life with Shell Canada. Harold was a life long Presbyterian and was an Elder at the St. James Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed golf and curling and was a long time member of Assiniboine Golf Club and Deer Lodge Curling Club. Harold's sense of humor, love of family and friends, along with his willingness to help others will be warmly remembered by all that knew him. This was a good man, much loved by all that knew him and he will be sorely missed. According to Harold's wishes cremation has taken place and a family graveside ceremony has been held. If friends so desire donations may be made in memory of Harold to The Lung Association of Manitoba, or to a charity of one's choice. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
