ANNE LEDENIUK Passed away peacefully with her family at her side on February 7, 2009. Anne was born on August 8, 1927 in St. Julian, Saskatchewan. She worked for 29 years at the pastry counter at Woolworths in Winnipeg. Anne spoke highly of the customers and many friends she made while working. After retirement, she enjoyed many years at her cottage at Nutimik. Anne enjoyed fishing, playing cards and gardening. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to neighbours and anyone in need. Anne was predeceased by her parents John and Mary and her husband Emil Schnitzer. She is survived by her sisters, Polly Fedorovich, Anastasia (Peter) Cebriy, Doris Buzikievich, Helen (Nick) Kostur; brothers, Peter (Stella), Steve, Harry (Madeline); many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and nephews. Prayers will be sung 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street. Divine Liturgy will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, February 12, at St. Vladimir Olga Cathedral, 115 McGregor St. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
