LOUISE CORNELIA BRUCE (MILLS) Louise Cornelia Bruce, 89 years of Halifax, passed away peacefully February 11, 2009, in Steven's Hall, Halifax. Louise was a loving, caring mother who lived each moment of her life for her boys . She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, travelling abroad and spending time at her home in Naples, FL. Born in Winnipeg, MB, Louise was a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Mills. She will be deeply missed by her family and caregivers at Stevens Hall. Louise is survived by her sons, Donald (Sharon), Gordon (Diana), Harry (Beth), Richard (Coleen), all of Halifax; grandchildren, Nathan, Katie, Daniel, David, Cameron and Jackson; siblings, Don, Vera, Roy, Irma; and sisters-in-law, Vera, Dorothy, and Cathie Bruce. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas; son, Cameron; brothers, Guy and Lloyd. Cremation has taken place. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Stevens Hall for their compassionate care and support. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. A reception will follow.
