Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNICE CHARRON It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Bernice on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Bernice was born in Winnipeg on June 30th, 1917 and was predeceased by her parents Anton and Nellie Johnson; brothers, John and Joseph and sister Julia. Her memory will be kept alive through her nieces, Judy Skinner, Elaine Robertson (Jack), and Valerie Baun (Wolfgang) and her great- nieces and nephews. Bernice retired from the Hudson Bay Company Downtown Store after working for 45 years in the baby department. Among her great joys after retirement was baking pies, hosting family Sunday dinners, knitting and needlepoint. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to all those who cared for her, and a special thank you to the staff at the Cedar Grove Unit of the Misericordia Health Centre, for their compassion and kindness. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation 1160-675 McDermot Ave. Winnipeg, Manitoba R3E 0V9. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
