COLIN BEAR JR. (JAKE) On Thursday, February 12, 2009 at the Tudor House Personal Care Home, Selkirk, Colin Bear Jr., aged 52 years. Colin was predeceased by his mother Rose and grandparents Colin and Harriet. He is survived by his sister Linda, nephew Brian, uncles Jim and Wilfred, aunties Doreen and Jean, cousin Kenny as well as numerous other extended family. Thank you to all the staff at Tudor House. Your care of Colin was deeply appreciated. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 16 at 11:00 a.m. with viewing one hour prior in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Ray Settee officiating. Cremation will follow and interment of ashes will take place at a later date in the Scanterbury Anglican Cemetery. A luncheon will be held after the service at the Scanterbury Community Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Orton Desjarlais, Jason Hocaluk, Faron Starr, Leon Johnston, Walter Greyeyes and Ross Halpin. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Tudor House Personal Care Home, 800 Manitoba Ave., Selkirk, MB, R1A 2C9. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
