NEIL ATKINSON Neil Atkinson passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9, 2009 at his home in Burlington, ON, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Suzanne; father of Noel (Jackie) and grandfather of Sloane. He will be missed by his stepdaughters, Estee (Avrum) and Elizabeth (Pierre;, brothers, Scott (Mary-Lynn) and Bruce (Mona), and his extended family and friends. Neil was born in 1942, was raised in Dorion, ON and lived much of his life in Winnipeg Beach, MB. He served in the RCAF for over 10 years in Canada and Germany. Thereafter, Neil spent more than three decades as a commercial truck driver and driver trainer, having helped hundreds of students realize their goals. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
