Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKRISTINN STEFAN HELGASON Peacefully after a four month battle with cancer, Kristinn Helgason, aged 67 years, of Arnes, MB, passed away at the Gimli Community Health Center on Sunday, February 15, 2009. Kris was born in Gimli on December 18, 1941 and lived in Arnes, working as a commercial fisherman all his life. He was predeceased by his twin brother Ken and his parents Gudny and Joe Helgason. Left surviving is his sister Margaret Cooke (Ian) and nieces and nephews Cathy, Kendra, Heather, Robert and Trevor. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held in the summer of 2009. Special thanks to the staff at the Gimli Hospital for the wonderful and compassionate care he received. Also to the HSC (H5) staff and especially Jamie Penner and Dr. Kerr of CancerCare. If desired donations may be made to the Arnes Cemetery, Arnes, MB, R0C 0C0 or a charity of your choice.
