ALEXANDER (SANDY) TODD Suddenly on February 13, 2009 Sandy passed away at his residence at the age of 82. Sandy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Florence Tootsie ; children, Lorie (Gord) and Ernie; grandchildren, Jazmine and Jason; sisters, Shirley and Rose; brothers, Donald and Gordie. He will also be missed by many other relatives and friends. Sandy was a kind and caring man. He was born in Chatfield on September 3, 1926. He moved to Deerhorn at 15 and went to work for farmers until he came to Winnipeg in 1947. Sandy delivered coal, worked at Sterling Furs, and worked for Nelson River Construction for 38 years. He liked to help out neighbors any way he could. Sandy was always making birdhouses, Arbours and lawn chairs. He loved animals, feeding his birds and squirrel Mr. Magoo . Sandy also used to look forward to his hunting trips with his nephew Jim when he was able to. He will be sadly missed by his granddogs, Tia, Josie, and Mandy. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 18, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave with an interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandy's name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Manitoba Lung Association. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
