VIRGINIA MARY POTTINGER February 10, 1927 - February 12, 2009 Virginia Mary Pottinger (nee Chartrand) formerly of Pebble Beach, Manitoba, passed away peacefully at her residence in the Maple Personal Care Home on February 12, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband George Allan Pottinger on October 27, 1993 and a son Keith Pottinger on March 11, 2002. Leaving behind are her children, Lillian (Allen), Bruce (Sandra), Donald (Julie), Donna, Kirk (Dawn), Randy (Karen), Brenda (Dan), Edith, Paul (his family), Carol (her family) along with many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the Ashern Legion Hall with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Service will conclude at the hall and an interment will take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Budge and Darrell Smith. A very special thanks to her sister-in-law Betty Chartrand for being there throughout the years. Thank you to all the staff of the Maples Personal Care Home who helped take care of Virginia.
