Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (LILY) BUSBY January 22, 1906 - February 15, 2009 Peacefully on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at the Victoria General Hospital, Lily passed away with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew (Andy), her parents and eight siblings. Lily is survived by her children, Billie Laxdal, Kenneth (Shirley) and Shirley Neil (John); grandchildren, Frank (Debby), Kenneth (Nancy), Bob (Sharon), Susan, Todd (Cheryl), Tammy, John (Dianne), Andrew (Bonnie) and Jayne (Dariusz); 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; family friend Bruce Gowanlock and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Donations in Lily's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Although our first acquaintance is with Shirley and John, they generously share their family stories. We share the family's pain at the loss of this beloved family member, simply known to us as "Shirley's mom". We heard wonderful stories of love, spunk and determination and know her spirit lives on with her family. God bless.
