DALE BREAKEY October 6, 1958 - February 16, 2009 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the sudden passing of Dale at the age of 50. Dale will be greatly missed by his mother Joan; sister Jill (Allen); niece Shauna (Randy); great-nephew Jordan, friends and acquaintances. Dale was predeceased by his father Reginald. Dale enjoyed watching the races at Gimli Speedway, spending some relaxing time at the family cottage, though he did very little relaxing and most often could be found cutting the lawn or going for a bike ride. Dale enjoyed watching sports especially the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and going to the occasional movie. He truly loved the outdoors and could often be seen out walking in the neighbourhood. Dale was a kind, thoughtful and gentle person with a big heart. He took pride in caring for others in his neighbourhood by cutting lawns of neighbours, running errands for his Mom or helping out at the community church. A memorial service in honour of Dale will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6.
