Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDONAT (DON) EDOUARD REMILLARD December 19, 1920 February 15, 2009 It is with extreme sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear father, grandfather and great grandfather on Sunday, February 15, 2009, at Victoria General Hospital. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years Cecile. Left to cherish his loving memory are his children, Roland (Joanne), Diane (Tom) Jensen, André (Gloria), and Louise Liebrecht; grandchildren, Jennifer (Aaron), Kevin (Jamie), Nicole, Carolyn and David; great grandchildren: Grace and Nate. Also surviving are his sister-in-law Dody Dussault and brother-in-law Cye Chatel and many nieces, nephews and friends. To Dad, family was very important. He and Mom taught us great values in life which we have passed onto our children. He was a kind and gentle person, never had a bad word to say about anyone and a very hard worker. Dad loved building things out of wood (Mr. Fix It). He spent most of his working years in the hardware business working for J. H. Ashdowns, Stylerite, and Big 4 Sales. We thank Fr. Morand and Mr. Vandal for your weekly visits; we thank the homecare workers from the block - you brightened his day; our thanks go to the staff of Victoria Hospital 3 South, you are all such angels. I know Dad was always in loving, caring hands. You angels do make a difference in peoples' lives and touch the hearts of many. Dad, we're happy that you're in Mom's arms. Love you forever, Love you always. Give Mom a big hug and kiss from us. We all love you very much. Bye for now. May you rest in Peace. Should friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Abiding by Dad's wishes, Prayers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009, in the St. Vital Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Highway, followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be: Kevin Jensen, Nicole Liebrecht, Peter Moore, André Remillard, Roland Remillard, David Remillard, Jack Zacharias. If tears could build a stairway, And memories a lane, We'd walk right up to Heaven And bring you home again. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO.
