LEONIE FILLION (nee BOULET) After a lengthy illness, Leonie Fillion, at the age of 73, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Foyer Valade. Cherishing her memory are husband Jacques-Emile, children, Lise (Dave), Alain, Dianne (Laine), Nicole (Ian); grandchildren, Danielle, T.J., Brianne, Lain, and Cole; as well as numerous brothers and sisters, in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Anna, father Joseph, sister Beatrice and brother Raymond. Leonie will forever be missed as the life of the party . Her infectious laugh and love for music and dance will always be remembered. Leonie loved gardening and spending time caring for her grandchildren and her many walks to the shopping mall with friends. After a 10 year battle with Alzheimer's she succumbed to the disease. To all of the staff at Foyer Valade, Thank You. Our words cannot express enough, how deeply we appreciated all your loving, respectful care and consideration for mom. It will always be cherished and never forgotten. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, Precious Blood Church, 200 Kenny Street with Father David Brabant celebrant. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Glen Lawn Reception Centre with refreshments and a light snack.
