GLADYS ZYNGER Born on May 20, 1913, in Polonia, MB. Gladys passed away on February 16, 2009, at the age of 96, at The West Park Manor in Winnipeg with her daughter at her side. Gladys was predeceased by her husband, Bill, in July of 1997 and her son, Clarence, in July of 2004. Gladys lived for, and devoted herself to her family. She is survived by daughters Bernice, Eileen (Rodney), Janice (Ivan), Denise; brother Kenneth; sister Gwen; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A most sincere Thank You to the staff of The West Park Manor for the tender care, compassion and understanding which Gladys received during her stay of three and one half years. A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 4588 Roblin Boulevard, Winnipeg at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, with Father Barry Schoonbaert officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted with Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, with a private interment at Riverside Cemetery, Neepawa at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gladys may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
