Peggy was predeceased by her parents, Kirk and Mary Hunter and will be remembered by her sisters, Christine Beauchamp and Jean Casale, her nephews Jim and Gary Beauchamp and their families. Peggy was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan. She took all her schooling there, with a perfect attendance record from Grade 1 to Grade 12. She then attended business college in Regina and worked for Saskatchewan Telephone. During the Second World War, Peggy moved to Washington, D.C. and started working for the British Embassy. She worked there for 30 years, after which she received the honorary title of Member of the British Embassy from her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. She then worked for International Monetary Fund until her retirement. Peggy then returned to Canada to be close to her sister Christine and her family. Peggy enjoyed many trips throughout the world with her job but especially liked getting out to the family cottage in the Whiteshell. The family would like to thank the staff at Golden West Lodge for making Peggy's new home a safe and pleasant place. She really enjoyed her stay with them. Thank you to the 3rd floor staff who helped to make Peggy's last few weeks comfortable. Cremation has taken place and a private family funeral will be held at a later date. As per Peggy's request, friends may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army's Golden West Lodge. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
