CECILE GRANGER (née GREGOIRE ST-VINCENT) Our dear mother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at the age of 76, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Hercule in 1978 and son Robert in 2001. Her adoptive parents, Joseph St-Vincent and Anna Grégoire, her birth parents Jean-Baptiste Grégoire and Amanda Ménard, and her brother Lucien St-Vincent also predeceased her. She is survived by her children Lucienne (Ross Gunning), Emile (Bonita), Alphonse (Sharon), Marie-Claire (and partner), Henriette (Marcel Proulx), Juliette (Richard Nadeau), Louis, Monique (Gord Vermiere), Joseph and Cécile, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Christopher (Jana), Tessa, expected baby, Melissa (Adam Johnson), Nicholas, newborn Brody, Kendra (Joel), Ashton, Todd, expected baby, Garret, Catlin, Callum, Justin, Jamie, Gabriel, Joëlle, Dominique, Jordan, Stephanie, Brett, Matthew and Bradyn. She is also survived by her sister Sr. Jeannette St-Vincent, brothers Aimé, Omer and Henri Grégoire, sister-in-law Patricia St-Vincent, and members of the Granger family, Thérèse, Jules (Yvette), Sr. Cécile, Juliette and Germaine (Marcel Robert). Cécile est née le 17 novembre 1932 en Alberta et a vécu sa jeunesse à St. Jean-Baptiste, MB. Elle épousa Hercule Granger en 1955 et leurs onze enfants ont été élevés à Stead, MB et ensuite à Ste. Agathe, MB. Cécile a déménagé à St. Vital en 1992. Family meant everything to Cécile. She cherished their visits greatly, especially in her final days. A celebration of her life will take place Monday, February 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 252 Dubuc Street with reception to follow. Thank you to the staff and volunteers at St. Boniface Hospital and at CancerCare Manitoba for the wonderful care and support provided to Cécile and her family. T'as bien fait, Mom.
