LILLIAN RUTH HOLTZMAN (nee McMULLEN) July 1, 1930 - February 14, 2009 It is with profound sadness the family announces the passing of Lil, loving wife of Al Holtzman. Lil grew up in Transcona and was the beloved eldest daughter of Edith and Joe McMullen. After completing high school, she was an honour grad from Success Business College and pursued a business career at the Supt. Office of the CPR. She met the love of her life, Al, in 1948 and they were married February 2, 1952. Together they touched the lives of many people as they pursued Al's career with TD Bank and raised their family. They contributed to the life and work of the church and community wherever they lived. Lil's family was the heart and soul of her being and her in-law children were as dear to her as her own. Lil will always be cherished as a loving and dedicated wife, mother and friend to many wonderful people. Lillian is survived by her loving husband and best friend Al, son Brent (Darcia) (their dog Libby), daughter Brenda Frisk (Eric), sister Gerry Johnston, brother Clarence McMullen (Barbara) and their families. Cremation has taken place and a private family time of remembrance will be held later as per Lil's wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be appreciated.
