THORBJORG MARGARET KROFT (PETERSON) February 15th, 1923 February 17th, 2009 Sadly, Mom passed away on February 17th at the age of 86 surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Neil Craig; son Ian; then by her husband George Kroft; her sisters, Thora, Olive, Tootsie and her brothers, Joe, Kenny, and Denny. She is survived by her partner Ken Brock; her daughters, Charlene, Donna Rae (Tom), and Randi (Danny); brother Laurie; grandchildren, Michael, Chris, Jennifer, Darcy, Kirsten, Jean Paul, Dannielle and Cassandra. Also by her great-grandchildren, Arun, Anil, Chase, Alisa, Chloe, Ben, Luke, Jordan, Dylan, Kaylyn, Jayde, Alexa, Corteon, Tianna and Javen. Mom was devoted to her family enjoying every minute spent with them. In 1959 Mom started work as a receptionist at Salisbury House; ultimately buying the company with 3 partners. She was an astute business person who loved her work with a passion. She retired in 1982 and she and George enjoyed travelling to warmer climes for the winters. Mom and her beloved partner Ken spent 15 wonderful years travelling back and forth to Texas and for the last two years of her life she lived at Tuxedo Villa, where she was cared for by warm and dedicated staff. To them we owe our heartfelt gratitude for her care and their kindness to our family. At Mom's request a private family gathering will be held.
