VIOLA (VI) J. MACKENZIE Viola passed away on February 19, 2009 at the Victoria Hospital. She will be remembered by Patricia and George Zachanowich and family as well as cousins in Scotland and friends in England. Vi was predeceased by her beloved companion Jack Whiteside in 2001, parents Jean and Donald MacKenzie, sisters Mary Willcox, Elsie MacKenzie and brother Alister. Born in Rossburn, Manitoba October 11, 1931, Vi was employed by Success College, Western Retail Lumbermen's Association and Inland Cement until her retirement in 1980. Cremation has taken place and at Vi's request a private graveside service will be held at Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street. The family would like to thank all the Doctors, nurses and staff on the fourth floor of the Victoria Hospital. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of one's choice.
