Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH (LIZ) MCCULLOCH April 23, 1944 February 19, 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our wife, sister, mother, and grandmother, Elizabeth (Liz) McCulloch. With her family by her side, Liz peacefully left us on Thursday, February 19, 2009, at the age of 64 years. Remaining to forever cherish Liz's memory is her loving husband James (Jimmy); daughter Susan (Luis); sons, Stephen (Pam) and Jamie (Charmaine); grandchildren, Derek, Adrien, Mark, Jeremy, and Aaron; sister Myra (Jim); nephew Rob (Margaret); and her extended family Norm and Lenore Singbeil; as well as her many friends and family. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and John (Jock) Smith. Mum was born in Scotland, moving to Winnipeg when she was 8. In 1966 she married James (Jimmy) McCulloch, also from Scotland. Mum has always taken pride in her Scottish heritage. Liz gave her children every opportunity to develop themselves, forever by our sides. Mum enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was an animal lover and always had a dog by her side, most recently, Rocky, her boisterous companion. Over the years Liz enjoyed playing baseball, going out to Spruce Sands, and most recently Oasis Beach. Mum's wish was for us all to celebrate her life and to remember her for the spunky lady that she always was. To Mum family was very important. She has taught us to celebrate each day, which we have in turn taught our children. Respecting Mum's wishes funeral arrangements are as follows; Prayers will be held on Thursday February 26, at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel 1020 Main Street at Manitoba Avenue. Mum's service will be held Friday, February 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mum's memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation. We love you, miss you, and will forever celebrate your life. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, we'd walk right up to heaven and bring you back again.
