THOMAS E. CALDER On February 20, 2009 at the age of 99 and one half years, Tom peacefully left us to join his dear Agnes. Tom is survived by: daughter Linda (Art), son Tom (Collette), grandchildren Bob (Shelley, Caity and Calder), Patti (Rob, Justin and Jordyn), Jackie (Jay, Donna and Ben, (Justin, Cody and Samantha)). Tom's career in hardware began with Macleods in Winnipeg and ended with retirement from Gamble Macleod as office manager, also in Winnipeg. He and Agnes had 69 years together, enjoying life in Brandon, Edmonton, Wetaskiwin, St. Albert, Winnipeg and Sandy Hook. At Tom's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. If so wished, please make a donation to CNIB, 1080 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3G3M3, or to a charity of choice. To those at Oakview Place who went out of their way to treat Dad with friendliness and compassion - especially his caring angels of 1 East - our deepest gratitude. You helped make Dad's almost two years without Mom bearable. To Dr. Ian Maharaj - you treated Dad and Mom with dignity and kindness - thank you so very much.
