MARGARET ROSE ANNA HIRST January 24, 1933 - February 20, 2009 Peacefully on February 20, 2009 with family by her side, wife, mother and Nanny , Margaret passed away at the age of 76. Mom was predeceased by her first husband Lloyd Clark; son Gordon Clark; great-granddaughter Cora-Lynn; mother Marjorie; father Gerry; and sister Edrienna. Margaret is survived by her husband Ewart Hirst; son George Clark (Susan Fyfe); daughters, Arlene (Eric) Abrey, Margaret (Brian) Flamand, Karen (Syd) Church, Penny (Alex) Chernetski; and daughter-in-law Sandra Clark. Nanny will be missed by her 12 grandchildren, Sherri (Pasqualie), Brian (Jackie), Kimberley, Conan (Laura), Warren (Linli), David, Daniel, Michael (Amanda), Anthony (Kaylee), Rhianna, Lyndsay and Rebecca; eight great-grandchildren, Terri, Donovan, Karma, Matteo, Adamo, Gracie, Leigha and Nevaeh. Mom also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends. Mom enjoyed life, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a generous person who never minded giving up her time for friends or helping in community events. She will be sadly missed. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009, 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private interment will take place. Our family would like to thank the nursing staff GD-4 and GD-5 at Health Sciences Centre for the compassionate care Mom received.
