EDWARD GEORGE (ED) PIPER Edward George Ed Piper was born September 21, 1940 in Sprague, MB, and passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the age of 68 years. Survived by his loving wife Shirl, children; Raymond, Cindy and Kimberley, four grandchildren, and siblings Stanley, Mable, David, Edna, Doreen, Minnie, Phillip, Harvey and Alan. Sadly predeceased by his parents Arthur and Exlila and brother Ernest. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kelowna Legion, 1380 Bertram Street with Major Les Burrows officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1633 Pandosy Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 1P6.
