Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryERWIN ALLAN KAUK On February 22, 2009, with his family by his side, Erwin passed away at the age of 76 years. He is survived by his spouse, Gertrude; children Allan (Suzanne) Kauk, MaryAnn (James) Kauk, Linda (Gordon) Beilner and Ryan, Teresa Logan and Brandon and Nicole, Darryl (Kelly) Block and Kristin and Jennifer, Michael (Diane) Block and David, Justina, Sarah, and Robert. He is also survived by sister Lee (Art), brother Wally (Del), sister-in-law Adeline Kauk, Shirley Kauk, and brother-in-law Paul Kullman, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, mother, stepmother, three brothers, and one sister. A service for Erwin will be held Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home. The family would like to thank the Concordia Hospital staff for their care of Erwin. I first met Hetch in the late 80s, in Elmwood, at the LaSalle restaurant. He and Paul would often stop by for breakfast. It was hard to keep a straight face around those two. Hetch was always willing to give of himself, and was really keen on woodworking. Sadly, I did not know of his passing until some time after the fact.
