PATRICIA (PAT) MAY ANDERSON (nee MCCAUGHAN) Patricia (Pat) May Anderson, born April 2, 1934 in Winnipeg, MB. Caring wife to Andy, loving mother to Allan (Carole), Kim (Bob), Marilyn, Joe (Lina), and Tracy (Rick); devoted grandmother to Becky, Allan, Jason, Daryll, Meagan, Dawn, Chris and Stephanie; and wonderful and sharing great grandmother to Shaylynn, Sadie, Jayden, and Madeline went to a happier place on Monday, February 23, 2009. With bravery and courage in her heart, she left this life to join her parents, Joe and Gertrude (nee Hogue) McCaughan, brothers Harry and Bobby and sisters Lorraine and Rena. Patricia is survived by her brothers Victor, Cec, Art and sisters Rita, Shirley, Linda, Elaine, Joanne, Joyce, Sharon, and Donna. Mom worked very hard all her life making a comfortable home for all of us and was always willing to give whatever she could to those in need and asking nothing in return. In her young adult life, she enjoyed camping and fishing. She readily carried on the McCaughan tradition of card playing by teaching all of her children and grandchildren the joy of playing cards. As time went by she gained a passion for bingo, knitting and of course, reading. No matter what her age, her greatest love of all was spending quality moments with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Flowers are gratefully declined.
