JOHN ENNS On February 22, 2009 at the Concordia Hospital, John passed away at the age of 87 with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife Helen; children, John (Bonnie), Helmut and Rudy; grandchildren, Christian, Natalie and Laura Johnson; a brother and sister in Russia, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Linda. John was born in the Ukraine in 1921, and married Helen in Austria in 1948. They came to Canada in 1949. He was last employed by the River East School Division for over 20 years and retired in 1983. John enjoyed playing pool in his basement and gardening in the back yard. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 27, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
