ARSENIO MABASA SR. March 6, 1930 - February 23, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arsenio Senyong Mabasa Sr. with his family by his side on Monday, February 23, 2009. He died peacefully at Grace Hospital at the age of 78. Senyong, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather will forever be missed by his wife Remy; their children and grandchildren: Arsenio (Boy) and Julita Mabasa, (Jeanette, Darwin, Jeanne, Jaypee, Jeffrey) - Philippines, Tessie and Eric Sunga (Kristine), Lina and Mac Cabungcal (Charlie, Carlo), Mayette and Romy Madriaga (Mhay, Edmond, Leslie), Edna and Cesar Mercado (Grace, Miriam, Maricris) - Philippines, Arnel and Myrna Mabasa (Nelson, Vanessa, Nicole), Anna and Ramon Ruiz (Elmer, Jordan, Anna Delmy, Emily, Jomer), Ed and Charmaine Mabasa, Francis (Francisco III), and Vivian. The family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Grace Hospital. Lamay will be held on Thursday, February 26 and Friday, February 27 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street from 6:00 p.m. to midnight. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at St. Edward's the Confessor, 818 Arlington Street at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow and reception to be held at Grassmere Family Restaurant, 3750 McPhillips Street.
