Desiree was a strong willed, compassionate woman and her beautiful smile and contagious laugh will be remembered forever. She loved being with her family and lived her life as she wished. Desiree had many special gifts and talents, one was music and at age 6 she played the piano. Although she was very shy she played to a full house and a particularly hard piece for such a little girl. She received great applause. She also loved to write, spending hours composing poems, writing letters and stories. She loved photography and enjoyed taking pictures of her children. Desiree played fastball in her early years. She played in Selkirk on the traveling team. She was a pitcher as was her father and sister. Desiree loved dogs and exotic animals. God saw you getting tired, And a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you, And whispered, “Come to Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, And saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts To prove to us, He only takes the best - Posted by: Taylor Jean (Little Cousin ) on: Dec 03, 2013
