BARRY SOMERS 1963 - 2009 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Barry on Monday, February 23, 2009 at Health Sciences Centre at the age of 45. Barry was predeceased by his parents, James and Lillian. He was the youngest of nine children. He leaves behind brothers, Ted, Jim (Gayle), Ray (Sandi), Blaine (Ivy), Lyman (Carrie), David (Edna) and sisters, Lynn and Barb Clark, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and a very good friend of the family Val Hamill. Barry worked for Canada Post for 20 years and was very well liked by everyone that he met. His family would like to extend their thanks to Home Care and the Health Sciences Centre for their care of Barry. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Monday, March 2 at 3:00 p.m. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
