CONCHITA (CHIT) MARCOS DELA CRUZ February 10, 1948 - February 23, 2009 Peacefully on February 23, 2009 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital, Conchita Marcos Dela Cruz passed away at the age of 70 years. Conchita was predeceased by her parents, Tirso and Natividad. She also leaves to mourn, her daughter Jenny (Vicente Jr.); son Rommel (Helen); grandsons, John Vincent and Raphael; brothers, Jose (Leni), Marino (Belen), Juan (Dinah); sisters, Siony (Ban), Ester (Nor), numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren, relatives and friends in Winnipeg, Canada and the Philippines. Lamay to be held on Friday, February 27, 2009 at Mosaic Funeral Chapel, 1839 Inkster Blvd., commencing at 6:00 p.m. and concluding at the request of the family. Prayer service will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, February 27 in the Mosaic Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin Street on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date in the Philippines. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seven Oaks General Hospital and CancerCare Manitoba.
