JERRY EDMOND ALEXANDER Peacefully, on February 22, 2009, Jerry Edmond Alexander passed away at the age of 81 years, with his wife Mary at his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Edna and Howard Alexander; sisters Lorraine and Patricia; brother Elwood George; sister-in-law Marion; brothers-in-law Lloyd and Harry and nephew Calvin. He is survived by his wife Mary; sister Trudy; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mona and Jim Gillespie, Mae Glasman and Gene Menzies, along with numerous nieces and nephew and their families. Jerry spent his retirement years at Rossman Lake with his wife Mary, his best friend, where the door to their home was always open to anyone and everyone. His kindness and generosity will always be remembered by family and friends. The family wishes to thank the ambulance service, Dr. Pieterse, nurses, home care workers and all the staff of the Russell District Health Centre for the wonderful care they provided. Respecting Jerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at the Rossburn Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined and if friends so desire, donations in Jerry's memory may be made to the Rossburn Foundation Inc., P.O. Box 70, Rossburn, MB R0J 1V0 or to a charity of your choice.
