Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREGINALD JAMES TOWNSEND July 6, 1913 - February 25, 2009 Reginald passed away peacefully after a short illness, at the Deer Lodge Centre with family by his side. He is predeceased by his loving wife Lillian of 62 years, his daughter Sheila and granddaughter Amanda. Remaining to forever cherish Reginald's memory are his children, Bob (Donna), Susan (Gord) and Jennifer. Also left to cherish his memory are his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Reginald was born in Wales, served in the British Army and moved to Canada where he lived in Winnipeg for the remainder of his life. He worked for the Department of Transport as an electrician for most of his working career. Reginald was an athlete and played soccer in his younger years and he also loved to watch his hockey. He was a proud father, a great husband and was very devoted to all of his family. We will miss him, his great stories and his great smile. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. We love you Dad you will forever be missed.
