BERNARD BORIS DYMA August 17, 1926 - February 24, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Bernard Dyma on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at his home in Winnipeg. Bernie was born and educated in Winnipeg. After 36 years of service, he retired from Manitoba Telephone Systems on May 1, 1987, which allowed him more time at the cottage. Dad loved Victoria Beach, especially riding his bike and catching up with everyone in his role as beach taxi driver. Another of Dad's favourite pastimes was curling. Bernie leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life, his daughters, Janis Wokoeck (Lanny) of Spruce Grove, AB, Kathy Price (Norman) of Winnipeg, Carolyn Dyma (Richard Harrison) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Tyson, Lukas, and Nikolas Wokoeck, Dayna and Jaryd Price; brother, Donald Dyma of Winnipeg; his former wife and friend Shelagh Lyons and all the four-legged grandchildren. Bernie was predeceased by his infant son Donald Brian and parents, Dr. Bronislaw and Mary Dyma. The family wishes to thank Dr. B. Gorski for his kindness and care over many years. A memorial service to celebrate Bernie will be held at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main Street on Thursday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
