EVA LILLIAN ROSS (nee REINKE) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Grace Hospital. Mom passed away after a lengthy illness, which she bore with strength and courage till the end. Remaining to forever cherish Mom's memory are her children, Ray, Margaret, Earl (Karen), Ken (Doreen), Cathy (Ken), Jack (Deb), Roy (Vicky), Deenna (Art), Jill (Jeremy); and grandchildren Ken, Donna (Bart), Tracy (Dan), Danielle, Ray (Lisa), Murray, Graham, John (Tracey), Jodie (Roger), Michelle, Kevin (Christine), Eva, Jeff, Candace (AJ), Stephen, Kim, Yasmien, Ashley, Tommy, Ryan, Megan, Angie and; 12 great-grandchildren. Mom will also be sadly missed by her other little friend Mara. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond; children Kevin, and Jill Adele; and her granddaughter Amanda; and son-in law Danny; as well as her special little friends Brandy and Tika. Mom was born June 18, 1923 in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. She served in the Canadian Army in Canada and the United Kingdom. It was in England where she met her late husband Raymond Earl Ross. Eventually they married and moved to St. James where they raised their children. Mom's passion was for her children and grandchildren. A private family service for immediate family will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Avenue at Sharp Blvd. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital for their care and compassion.
