PHIL CAMERON After many hard fought battles, mom passed away on February 20, 2009 at home in her 93rd year. In spite of all her health issues, mom was blessed to have remained in her own home. Her strength and stubborn perseverance served as an inspiration to all. She will be fondly remembered for her outstanding baked goodies which she so generously shared. Born in Moosejaw, SK into a strong Scottish family she was the surviving member. Mom will live on in the hearts of her children, Janice, BettyAnn (Craig), David (Pat); her grand-children, Geoff (Lisa), Christine (Stan), Tracey (Chip), Paula (Rod), Brenda (Jordan), Jessica, Justin (Meghan), Kevin and Laura and great-grandchildren, Daris, Kirah, Tyree, Ellianna, Harley, Adaleemae, Kayden and Jaeden. She will also be remembered by Claydon, Linda and numerous nieces and nephews. Mom raised her family in Winnipeg in a day when women took pride in being home with their children, keeping a spotless home, serving fantastic dinners and where Sundays were a favorite around the table, sharing stories. Mom will be missed by all of us. She is now free of pain and will have joined our dad Dan, who predeceased her on September 20, 1991. May God bless her and dad and keep them safe in his loving arms. The family extends everlasting gratitude to Dr. M. Shnider who gave her loving care for over 50 years as a friend and physician. At her request, there shall be no service.
