Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND MAYTWAYASHING August 11, 1939 - February 26, 2009 Peacefully on February 26, 2009, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB, with family by his side, Raymond Maytwayashing aged 69 years of Lake Manitoba First Nation. Raymond was born on August 11, 1939 in Dog Creek now known as Lake Manitoba First Nation. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Mary Anne of 46 years; his son Carl Maytwayashing; daughters Diane (Pete) Maytwayashing and Vanessa Maytwayashing; grandchildren Jacquelyn, Bee o bick, Migizi, Nicholas and Ray Anne; great grandchildren Calvin and Jaylynn; a sister Josephine Spence; two brothers Phillip Martin and Tony (Audrey) Martin; his cousins Clifford (Eleanor) Maytwayashing, Sarah (Bruce) Walker; sister-in-law Sandra A. Maytwayashing; special friends Archie (Myra) Chippeway of Lake Manitoba First Nation, Nelson (Mary) of Winnipeg and Eddy (Josephine) Attatise of Ontario; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members. He was predeceased by his parents Alvina and Antoine (Add-wen), a son George Maytwayashing and a brother George Maytwayashing; his siblings Clifford, Louie, Herman, Alvin, Louise, George and Frederick. Wake services will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Sarah Walker residence at Lake Manitoba First Nation. Funeral service will take place on 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Lake Manitoba First Nation School with Father Dominic Kerbrat officiating. Interment to follow in the Lake Manitoba First Nation Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Jr., Mark, Donald, Peter, Neil and Frank Martin.
