Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVA LECLAIR (nee MARCHAND) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our sister Eva, age 93, at the Taché Centre on February 28, 2009. Eva was predeceased by her husband Amédée Leclair in 1975, her parents Joseph and Thérèse Marchand, her brothers and their spouses, Leo (Helen), Arthur (Josée), Alphonse (Lucie) and her brother-in-law Marcel Délaquis and her special friend Bill Frame. Remaining to cherish her memory are her brother Ernie (Irene), sisters Yvonne (Bernard Ayotte), Florina Délaquis, Annette (Cliff) Coates, sisters-in-law Eugenie Rasmussen, Sister Thérèse, Marie Marchand and many nieces and nephews. Eva was born in Benson, Saskatchewan on September 29, 1915. Eva and her family relocated to Manitoba in 1934. Eva was employed at Zellers Children's Wear and Domo Centre. After retirement Eva did volunteer work at St. Boniface Hospital Gift Shop and Précieux-Sang Church. Eva loved travelling, trips to Hawaii, Florida, Arizona, Mexico and a special trip to Switzerland, her mother's homeland. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Church, 289 Dussault Avenue. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Taché Centre, 185 Despins Street, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3. The family extends its sincere thanks to 4 ABC staff at Taché Centre for their kind care provided to Eva and family.
