JOHN CHARLES SIMONS Passed away on February 28, 2009 at 75 years of age after a long battle with heart and kidney disease. Loving and missing him are his wife Maureen Simons; daughters, Susan Murray, Karen Hildebrandt, and Amanda Uebel; and grandchildren, Jason, Aaron, Jessica, Corinne, Andrew, Josh, Ashley, and Trevor. John was born in England and immigrated to Canada in 1967. For many years John lived and worked in Winnipeg, and in later years lived in Vancouver, Calgary, and Port Moody. His many friends and family across Canada and the world will miss his good humour and positive spirit. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on March 7, 2009 at St. John the Apostle Anglican Church, 2208 St. John's Street, Port Moody, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or the Kidney Foundation.
