DOLORES (DOTSIE) HENDRICKSON (nee DENNETT) With sadness the family of Dotsie announces her passing on March 1, 2009 after a short illness at the Selkirk General Hospital. She will be remembered by her sons Carl Jr. (Karen), Randy, Floyd, William, Franklyn (Kayla) and daughter Angel; 10 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; aunt Lizzie Carlson; sister-in-law Alice and brother-in-law Wilfred. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Carl Sr., infant son Timothy and sons Harold and Calvin; parents Lucy and James Dennett; brothers Lloyd, Hayden and Willie; sisters Jessie Langlois and Clara Brown. Dotsie was born in Libau on March 26, 1935 and married in August, 1986. She moved to Grand Marais in 1986. She took great comfort from her pets and knitting slippers for her children and grandchildren, and feeding Jake the seagull and his girlfriends. A memorial service will be held at Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk on March 6 at 1:00 p.m. Interment of ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Selkirk and District General Hospital.
