OLGA NEISLER (nee SOLATYCKI) Peacefully on Sunday, March 1, 2009, Olga, aged 76, passed away at the Concordia Hospital. Olga will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Ron; daughter Darlene and husband Emil Gorea and granddaughters, Michelle and Nicole. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Joe Sokierka of Wyoming, MN and sister-in-law Marlene Poole of Edmonton, AB and their families. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Irene; her sister Anne and brother-in-law Derek. Olga was born July 29, 1932 and grew up in the North End of Winnipeg. She attended King Edward and Isaac Newton schools. She also worked part-time at The Bay and Orchid Florists. Olga had a very warm personality and was loved by all. Olga was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her grand-daughters and thoroughly enjoyed the times she spent with them. She was a wonderful cook and gardening and knitting were her favourite pastimes. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Pastor Don Engel officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olga's memory to the Alzheimer Society or the Children's Wish Foundation.
