ELSIE BLANCO It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our loving sister, mother and grandmother on Monday, March 2, 2009, at the Poseidon Care Home. Elsie will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her son Dale (Suzanne) and her three grandchildren, Trenton (Krisi), Brett and Alyssa. She was predeceased by her husband Delbert, as well as her parents. She is survived by her sisters Margaret, Irene, and her brother Don (Anne). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Elsie spent most of her married life working hard on the family farm in Sanford, Manitoba. She was baptized in 1951 as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and she remained faithful and firm in her love for Jehovah until her death. She was a kind, caring, loving person and was loved by all who knew her. Elsie was looking forward to the resurrection where she will be reunited with her family on earth as promised at John 5:28,29. The family would especially like to thank the staff at the Poseidon Care Centre for their warm and loving care of Elsie. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie's memory may be made to the Southdale Kingdom Hall Centre. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7 at 4:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall Centre of Jehovah's Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd., Winnipeg, MB. Service by Pierre Fortin.
