Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROL ANN NEMES (nee LUMSDEN) It is with extreme sadness that we announce Carol's untimely passing on March 2, 2009. She is survived by her husband Richard, son Brian (Marlene), grandson Taylor, sister and best friend Lesley, and brother-in law Brian (Peggi) and family. She was predeceased by her parents, Stuart and Marie Lumsden and in-laws, Gustav, Barbara and Elizabeth Nemes. Carol was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on June 28, 1940 and the family moved around the country before settling in Elmwood to be back with family and friends. She attended Lord Selkirk School and was a naturally good student who took pride in her spelling. Carol and Richard were married in 1960 and dedicated their entire life to their son Brian, daughter-in-law Marlene and only grandson Taylor. Although her formal work career was short, she was active in the family business until her passing. Carol was a generous person who enjoyed entertaining family and friends making sure they were always well fed. Her main interests were doing crossword puzzles, reading and watching her favourite TV shows. Her greatest joy in life was her grandson. She kept up to date with his daily school and sports activities and she was his biggest supporter. He could do no wrong in her eyes. She will be missed by numerous family and friends. We love you Carol! Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. At Carol's request, no service will be held at this time. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. 338-0331 Send expressions of sympathy at www.mem.com.
