Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Doug influenced my life a great deal. I lived with him in the mid 1960's as a boarder at the rectory of Saint Peter's church, where we enjoyed golf, duck hunting and his mother's pancake recipe. Later, travelling in my father's 15 ft. boat with a 10 HP motor we camped along the river between Montreal and Ottawa. Doug officiated at the marriage of my wife Penny and myself when we travelled from Montreal to Winnipeg to be married in 1967. We both visited with him in Surrey after his retirement. Doug is greatly missed. He left too soon. - Posted by: Robert James (Friend and mentee.) on: Jul 14, 2014
