On March 2, 2009 at the age of 91 years, Nellie passed away at Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg, MB. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Jack (1995), daughter Beth (1957), brothers Albert Henwood (1991), Edward Henwood (2000) and Sister Alice Duncan (1994). She leaves to cherish her memory her sons Howard (Margaret) Abbotsford, BC and Keith (Barbara) Winnipeg; grandchildren Tabitha Gibson, Melanie Gibson (Andrew), Trevor Liddle and Lynelle (Kevin) Klassen, and her great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister-in-law Margaret Miller (Avonlea, SK); brothers-in-law Gordon Liddle (Melfort, SK) and Arthur (Sheila) Liddle (Marysville WA); her cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie was born in Grandview, Manitoba and married Jack on August 3, 1944 at which time she moved to the Colgate area, where they raised their family on the family farm. They left the farm in 1973 to move to Weyburn. There they operated the Weyburn Pfaff Sewing Center which they started in 1970 and operated until 1977. She relocated to Winnipeg in 2005 to Meadowood Manor to be closer to family. She loved to cook and entertain family and friends in her home. Many people have felt the warmth of one of her afghans as she crocheted for baby showers and friends. She will be greatly missed by both her family and many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Weyburn Free Methodist Church in Weyburn, SK. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, Sask. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideons International, Box 3619 Guelph, ON N1H 9Z9. Arrangements entrusted to Fletcher Funeral Chapels Ltd., Weyburn, Saskatchewan 306-842-5432

Dear Howard, Margaret, Keith, Barbara and families, Our love and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We have a life time of wonderful memories of Nellie.
