FLOYD DOKKEN Floyd went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Carol; four sons: Kerry Dokken and Craig Dokken (Rhoda), all of Winnipeg, Clint Paulishyn and Kelly Paulishyn (Cris); granddaughter Riley and nephew Vaughn, all of Kelowna; four sisters: Margaret (Emil) of Kenora, ON, Iris (Harry) of Kelowna, Norma (Rod) of Kelowna, Pat (Ed) of Calgary and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Arnold and Irene Dokken of Winnipeg. Floyd was a gentle man who fought a courageous battle with cancer until the very end. He will be sadly missed by his family and many dear friends. A celebration of Floyd's life was held on Saturday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Central Okanagan Hospice Association, 202-1456 St. Paul Street, Kelowna, BC V1Y 2E6.
