STELLA SQUIRES 1928 - 2009 It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, sister and aunt on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the Grace Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Pauline Shumyla and Ethel Shiells, also her son Russell Eastwood, step son Gary Squires, grand children, nieces and nephews. Stella was predeceased by her husband Rick Squires in 2005, mother, father and brother Joseph. Stella was a kind and caring person. She was a lovely quilter and donated much to the needy. She had many friends from Winnipeg to Vancouver where she lived over the years. She worked for the Labor Board in the Manitoba Government for many years. Our sincerest thanks to the wonderful dedicated paramedics who worked so valiantly to help her. In lieu of flowers donations in Stella's memory may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave, Winnipeg. Chapel Lawn 885 - 9715
